Friday, the East Carolina University Board of Trustees approved a tuition-increase proposal of $300 a year for the 2005-06 academic year. The board also endorsed required student fee increases totaling $173 for the next school year.
In addition, the board approved a proposal to increase the annual tuition for graduate students in the MBA and Master of Accounting programs by more than $1000. The proposals now go to the University of North Carolina Board of Governors for consideration early next year.
