A $4.2 million revitalization project is about to bring new changes to the former Hotel Louise in downtown Washington.
Developers have renamed the upcoming hotel "The George, The Little Inn at Washington." Hopes are high to restore the former glory enjoyed by the Hotel Louise, which now serves as low income housing.
Fred Fletcher, who represents the developers, says "The George" will feature 30 rooms, a Mediterranean restaurant, a health spa, and six condos for full time residency.
"The George" will help show off all of Washington's many attractions to tourists. Revitalization on the inside could begin as early as next spring.
