An official says about 10 investigators have scoured the area again where a slain hiker's body was found in North Carolina's mountains to be sure evidence wasn't overlooked.
Chief Deputy Eddie Gunter of the Transylvania County Sheriff's Office says the team went out Wednesday.
Gunter also says the body of 84-year-old Irene Bryant wasn't found quickly because rescue crews focused trails. Her body was found last Friday about 25 yards from her car in Pisgah National Forest, the same day officials learned the Bryant's bank card was used in Tennessee.
Gunter says officials at first believed Bryant and her 79-year-old husband John were lost. He still is missing.
