Plans are underway to replace several Hyde County government offices in Swan Quarter that were destroyed by Hurricane Isabel in September of 2003.
A unanimous vote at Monday night's county commissioners meeting approved preliminary drawings for the construction.
A new courthouse, sheriff's department, and health building are among the facilities planned.
