Water Main Break in Plymouth Has Residents Under Boil Water Advisory

The town of Plymouth lost nearly one million gallons of drinking water after a water main break Sunday.

Bill Ehrenbeck with Plymouth Public Works says nearly 1700 water customers are under a boil water advisory until Wednesday pending tests showing the water is okay to drink.

Also, Mayor Brian Roth says the water main will be fixed by late Monday night.

Ehrenbeck says the break may have been caused by pressure from a storm drain pipe that sits on top of the water main.
