The college wants funds to transfer from one project to another -- all part of a 1.7 million dollar renovation for the H.J. McGee building as well as the auditorium. Bids came in under budget for an elevator project in the McGee building, while at the same time costs and estimates increased for the new renovations for the Joslyn Hall Auditorium. The college says the building and grounds committee proposes transfering nearly 100,000 dollars from one project to the next. Representatives from the Carteret Community College Board of Trustees hopes to meet with Commissioners next Monday.
