Eastern Carolina law enforcement authorities were led on a high speed chase early Saturday morning.
Lawmen say it started at around 12:30 Saturday morning in Jacksonville when Brian Grantham, stole a car from a gas station, and when authorities tried to pull him over, he led them on a chase. Jacksonville Police, Pollocksville Police, and Onslow and Craven County Sheriff's all had a hand in the chase, which ended when a Craven County deputy used a special manuever to stop Grantham's vehicle. Lawmen say he will be charged with a number of felony motor vehicle violations.
