Suspect Bites Deputies

Two Wayne County patrol deputies were bitten trying to take a suspected tresspasser into custody Thursday night. Lawmen say 26-year-old Steven Tyrone Barnes bit one deputy four times and another deputy twice. Both deputies were treated at Wayne Memorial Hospital and released. Barnes faces five charges, and is locked up on $25,000 dollars bond.
