Jacksonville Police have rounded up what they say were mid-level drug dealers, in an operation that also brought charges against a local attorney.
Police say lawyer David Bestathe was one of the nine people charged with a total of 80 felony counts, related to undercover sales of crack cocaine, and other controlled substances, in an August to September effort the called Operation Eclipse.
Police say their effort targeted mid-level dealers that were providing drugs to street-level sellers. All those charged in that operating were picked up or turned themselves in to police on Wednesday.
