Being seriously injured or killed by a drunk driver could happen to anyone at anytime.
Thursday Marines from Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, and emergency services for the city of Havelock, staged a mock car crash for the students of Havelock High School.
Officials say the idea was to show students not only what could happen to them if they are hit by a drunk driver, but what could happen if they get behind the wheel after drinking alcohol.
