A Plymouth man is charged with felony hit and run after Greenville police say his SUV struck a motorcycle and kept going.
Police say it happened Sunday night around 6:30 pm at the intersection of East 10th Street and River Bluff Drive. The investigation shows the SUV driver failed to yield the right of way while making a left turn onto River Bluff Drive.
Police say they found the SUV later on River Bluff Drive. Matthew Smith of Plymouth is charged with felony hit and run, driving with a revoked license and making an improper turn.
The motorcyclist was injured and admitted to Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
