Officials at N.C. State University want to know who left a noose made of toilet paper dangling from a restroom stall door in a maintenance shop.
A school worker found the noose yesterday morning and reported
it to campus police.
The building where the paper noose was found is on the far western edge of campus, well away from areas where students normally are found.
Chancellor James Oblinger says it could be a prank or a crime, but either way it's disruptive and offensive. He says the person found responsible will be disciplined by the university and maybe charged with a crime.
