When children have to be removed from their home due to abuse or neglect, it's never easy. But a new project called "Operation Children to Children" is helping make the transition into foster care a little easier.

The project collects and distributes duffel bags to foster children in Eastern Carolina. Many of these children are being taken out of their homes, possibly in the middle of the night and don't always have time to pack, but just throw their clothes into trash bags.

A group of soldiers from Missouri purchased and donated several duffel bags to an organization that represents foster children from Craven, Carteret, and Pamlico counties.
