Pitt Community College is about to get a lot bigger. Thursday, both county and college leaders gathered for the official groundbreaking of the new Craig Goess student center.
The over thirty three thousand square foot building will house financial aid, counseling and admissions offices. The 5.7 million dollar project was made possible by a state bond and by the generous donation of Craig Goess.
The new student center is slated to open next year. It will also house a student dining room and a financial aid office.
