Three Suspected in 200 Break-Ins

It could be just the tip of the iceberg.

Monday, the State Bureau of Investigation, along with Pitt, Beaufort, and Bertie County Sheriff's departments displayed some of what they recovered after arresting three people, suspected in at least 200 robberies in those counties since 1996.

Norris Lenelle Mebane, Michael Earl Barnes and Robin Lindell Brown face multiple charges.
