Man Charged With Sex Offenses Involving Child

An Onslow County man is charged with sex crimes police say he committed on a family member under the age of 10.

Police arrested and charged 31-year old David Moore of Maple Hill for second degree sex offense, felony child abuse, sexual battery and indecent liberties with a child.

Deputies say the Maple Hill man abused the family member when she was 6 and twice again when she was 9 years old. Moore surrendered to the sheriff's office Wednesday.

He's in the Onslow County jail under a $30,000 dollar bond.

I don't believe individuals like this should receive any fair treatment and should be severely punished for these child sex abuse crimes. Life behind bars seems appropriate...I don't believe that people like this can be rehabilitated. There should be stricter laws on offenders of this nature. ZERO TOLERANCE for child sex abusers!! It just sickens me.
