Authorities say about 27 students were taken to a hospital for treatment after one Johnston County school bus hit another in the rear Wednesday in Selma.
The buses collided about 4 p.m. on N.C. Highway 96. Authorities say at least 14 children were taken by ambulance to Johnston Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries that were not life-threatening. And 13 students were taken by bus to the hospital for minor injuries.
Selma Middle School Principal Jennifer Moore says the buses were
from her school as well as Selma Elementary School.
