A fine lady for the job! Nancy Jenkins legacy will continue after all! Good luck, Pat. If I had been in Greenville, I would have indeed voted for you.

I have recently returned to NC from another state which also has an "education lottery". In that state the lottery funded school expansion along with college tuition reductions for instate tuition. What are our lottery dollars spent on, salaries for lottery officials?

Have the people of Nc lost their minds? We have the "educational lottery." But then again, maybe that money is going to the same place that tobacco alotment money and Hurricane Floyd recovery money went. Tax hike for educational purposes. Yeah right!

Just having returned back to the "TarHeel State", I feel the people have been sold a bill of goods with this "education lottery". Why not have the "education lottery" take care of any tax hikes needed for construction. When are the citizens of NC going to wake up and take notice of the hands in their pockets taking and taking. I assure you this is not a temporary take hike and the politics will continue to "blow smoke in your face" to keep of taking
