All Students From Bus Accident Released From Hospital

A school bus accident Monday afternoon sent several students from Washington High School to the hospital.

It happened around 3:45 pm on Robersonville Road outside of Washington. The accident involved a bus and a passenger car

A spokeswoman for Beaufort County Schools says five students were taken to Beaufort County Hospital by ambulance, another three were taken on a bus to the hospital, while the bus driver and the car's driver were also transported to B.C.H.

The administrator at Beaufort County Hospital says none of those seen at their emergency room were critically injured. All students and the bus driver have been released.

The Highway Patrol is investigating the wreck.

    there needs to be more information!! About this like what school it is!! And who are the children to make sure that you dont know them!! And say if the children are alright now!! I might not know any of them but i was in a bus accident once!! I saw it coming!! It was very scary but know one got hurt!! Thank God!!

It was not until an hour after our intitial story posted that the name of the school was released. We are still waiting to hear from the school system about the extent of injuries.
