Health officials say the state has obtained 70,000 doses of flu vaccine to be delivered to local health departments over the next two weeks. The vaccine was ordered from drug manufacturer Aventis prior to the announcement that Chiron, the only other pharmaceutical producing the flu vaccine, would not be allowed to distribute it this year because of a contamination problem.
