Folks dressed up in creative costumes turned out for WITN's annual Halloween Costume Contest this morning.
Adult First Place, $250, went to Willie Harvey of Greenville as the "Today Show" TV Weatherman Al Roker inside a homemade television studio. Adult Second Place, $100, went to Will Wolfe and Seth Klemm, both ECU students, who were "Dueling Banjos."
Adult Third Place, $50, went to Gabrielle Aguiar, also an ECU student, for her funny rendition of "Flavor Flav."
In the child category, it was just too close to call between the frontrunners. Two wonderful costumes tied for first place.
Bobbie Jo Kochlin of Pactolus was the cutest can of worms you ever did see, while Macy Ward of Robersonville wowed the judges with her rendition of "Scoop," from Bob the Builder. Each will receive a $50 U.S. savings bond.
Thanks to all who took part, and we look forward to seeing you next year!
