Still Recovering From Isabel

Hyde County is still repairing and rebuilding from the devastating flooding from Hurricane Isabel last year. Nearly 400 homes along with all of Hyde County government offices were completely flooded. For the last year, Hyde County government offices have operated out of modular units. County manager Don Davenport says that's about to change. The Hyde County Board of Commissioners approved preliminary plans for a new courthouse and public safety building.
