ECU Homecoming Parade & Game Traffic Alert

Greenville police expect large crowds in town for Saturday's ECU Homecoming.

Kickoff for the game against the University of Alabama at Birmingham is set for 3:30 pm. Police say parking lots will open six hours prior to the kickoff at 9:30 a.m. Officers advise fans not to arrive too early, as traffic will no longer be allowed to stop and sit in the roadway while waiting for the parking lots to open.

Another traffic concern will be Saturday morning for the ECU Homecoming parade which starts at 10:00 am. The parade will begin at East Fifth Street and Forrest Hills Drive and will travel east to Reade Street. East Fifth Street will be closed to traffic beginning at 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning. Motorist traveling in that area should avoid East Fifth Street during that time.

The parade itself will be streamed live here at

In the last few years your signal intp the EC cable has degraded tremendously. Your engineer tells me it's because of some station in Tidewater. Can I get WITN over the internet. I need to see the Memphis and Marshall games. Thanks
