One special little girl in New Bern, who is in remission from a rare type of cancer, is getting her biggest wish granted by the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Bonnie Claire Shelton, who's 4-years old, and her family, found out just after Christmas last year, that Bonnie had a rare tumor the size of a softball on one kidney. After surgery and several rounds of chemotherapy, the doctors say Bonnie is now in remission. And to celebrate, the Make-A-Wish Foundation is sending Bonnie and her family to Disney World to celebrate Bonnie's biggest wish. Bonnie was treated at the Children's Hospital University Health Systems of Eastern Carolina in Greenville.
