A nationwide celebration is underway. And whether you know it or not, your kids probably participated in it, that is if they played Saturday.
In conjunction with the popular kids network Nickelodeon, "Let's Just Play Day" is being celebrated around America. The Viquest Center in Greenville, partnered with the celebration, and gathered all the parents and kids they could, and headed to the great outdoors! The national play-day which was started by Nickelodeon just last year, began as a campaign to simply get more kids moving. Organizers say many Americans and their kids are growing-waist wise, at an alarming rate!
