Three Mount Olive police officers are accused of stealing money from the wallets of people they pulled over.

The State Bureau of Investigations has charged Sergeant Joshua Ehnert, patrolman David Johnson, and senior patrolman Freddie Southerland with felony conspiracy.

Authorities say the officers reportedly would take a person's wallet to check their license, and steal cash. The three were arrested Monday and released on bond.
