Seneca Foods Recalls Canned Beets

Seneca Foods is recalling a million canned beets because of possible contamination.

The recall applies to 15 ounce cans of sliced beets and no salt sliced beets shipped from July 27 to September 24. The company says no illnesses have been reported, so far.

The beets are sold under a variety of labels, including Harris Teeter and Piggly Wiggly.
