Names of Drowning Victims Released

Authorities have released the names of two Maryland men who drowned last week in separate incidents in Currituck County.

Charles M. Kennedy Junior of Elkton, Maryland was swimming with four other people when they got caught in a rip current Thursday morning in the Whalehead area.

About three hours later, Vance Kendall Givens of Baltimore drowned off Pine Island.
