Second Pizza Delivery Driver Held Up

New Bern police are investigating whether two pizza delivery holdups this week are connected.

The latest one happened last night around 9:00 pm on Madison Avenue. A driver for Domino's Pizza told police two men robbed him at gunpoint of $15, three pizzas and a pizza delivery bag.

The victim says both suspects are black men, in their late teens, and between 5'9" to 5'11" in height. One was wearing a long white t-shirt to his knees and shorts which hung low almost to the top of his dark colored shoes. The second robber is described as having thick eyebrows and wearing a long red shirt, dark shorts and dark shoes.

Police say they responded to a similar armed robbery in the Derby Park area around 9:15 pm Tuesday.

Anyone with information on either robbery is asked to call New Bern police at 252-633-2020.
