A private prep school in Goldsboro has been shut down.
Carlos Peralta, the administrator at Charis Prep in Goldsboro, says the city building inspector shut the school down Thursday for failing to meet four building codes.
Charis Prep operates out of Abundant Life Fellowship Church. Contractors are being hired to make changes and it will be at least a few days before the students return to school.
