Two pounds of marijuana was taken off the streets in the city of Washington Thursday night.
Detectives arrested 23 Claider Mendieta Ramirez and 23 year old Raul Gobellan Reyes, both of Washington just after seven Thursday night. The two were stopped in their truck at one of the assailant's home near Highland Drive Road. Police searched their vehicle and recovered nearly $2,000 dollars worth of the product from a cooler in the bed of their truck.
Both men have been charged with intent to sell and deliver a controlled substance within 300 feet of Washington High School. Both have been placed under $10,000 dollars bond each.
