NC Men Arrested For Sexual Misconduct In City Parks

Police in Johnson City, Tennessee have arrested 40 men -- some from North Carolina -- in a two-week undercover investigation of sex in city parks.

Undercover police struck up conversations with men approaching a
trail that led to an area known as the Man Cave, where police say
homosexual activity takes place in Winged Deer Park.

Police say some of those conversations led to suspects proposing
encounters and others led to men exposing themselves or groping
officers.

The suspects from Tennessee, Virginia and North Carolina ranged
in age from 26 to 85.

Police Chief John Lowry says the crackdown came after complaints
from park users.

I think that it's very disgusting to have sex in a public place such as a park. The park is where families go to have fun, and there are mostly children that go to the park. They should not be exposed to sexual activity of any kind, and I think that the police were right to arrest those men.
