Employees File Lawsuit Over Bonus Money at Consolidated Diesel

Employees of Consolidated Diesel are suing for bonus money they were promised two years ago. So far, 78 out of nearly 1,000 employees at the company in Whittakers have joined the lawsuit filed Wednesday in Nash County.

Disgruntled employees say the company only paid 70 percent of the bonus money for 2002 and they are asking for the last 30 percent. The attorney representing the employees says that 30 percent amounts to about $850 per person.

WITN tried to contact the company about the lawsuit, but management was unavailable for comment.
