Has the Weather Washed Away Profits at the Crystal Coast?

Will the Crystal Coast tourism industry survive this summer's shortened beach season?

The recent storms that have passed through the area put a big dent in the pockets of many business owners. Some are even blaming national weather forecasters, who called for rainfall in the area but barely a drop of rain actually fell.

The Crystal Coast Tourism Authority says several upcoming events are happening in the area. They hope people will continue to visit the coast and spend money, so that businesses can recoup some of their losses.
