Man Charged In Boat Crash That Killed Pregnant Mother, Child

A Guilford County man was indicted on 3counts of involuntary manslaughter in a deadly boating accident on High Rock Lake last month.

A Davidson County grand jury indicted 53-year-old Michael Greene in the deaths of 32-year-old Melissa Chamber and 3-year-old William Britt.

The pregnant woman and her son were killed May 25th when two boats collided.

Investigators say Greene was driving a speed boat that struck a pontoon boat. They don't think alcohol was involved.

Greene was released after posting a $50,000 bond. He's due in court on July 8th.
