no one has mentioned the actual date september 11, as the terrorist attack. i find it innappropriate for a sunday, AND the importance of the day itself.

Events rescheduled to Sept. 11 will be in conflict with the Ayden Collard Festival!

The only conflict will be with the art show. By Sunday, most of the Collard Festival is over.

Response to Country: I seriously doubt that. Far as I am concerned, they are in the same boat as the Greenville City Council.

You won't have any commercial vendors at the concert that are there today unless you give them more money. Years ago they charge more for a spot and moved the concert so now saterday nites its not going on. thats why I stop going. Little town BIG gov.

You must not listen to Country Music. Rodney Atkins is a very good country singer!!! WB - As far as Winterville leaders and their intelligence - sounds to me like they are more intelligent than you!!

Nobody's made any country music for about 40 years now. Don't mistake this "suburban pop" nonsense for the authentic expression of the American working-class experience. These guys nowadays are just a bunch of spoiled pretty boys, never had to work a real job in their life.

Rock and Roll doesn't exist anymore, country does. Is it different then during the days of Johnny Cash, Jimmy Dean, Merle Harrard, etc. etc., yes but it is todays country and still resembles old time country quite a bit. Rock & Roll one the other hand, is gone :-(

Camille, I checked him out, and he sings pretty good. But he was member of the Sigma Nu fraternity in college. Now there's two words in that sentence that you'd never see associated with Merle, Lefty, George, Johnny,..etc: "fraternity" and "college." Sigh, I guess things have just changed.
