WITN News At Sunrise On The Road In Beaufort, Also Celebrating Heather King's 10 Years At WITN

Heather King and Jim Howard were live in Beaufort in Carteret County Friday morning.

The Sunrise show showcased the people, places and history that make this Crystal Coast town so special.

Beaufort was born in the early 1700s and is North Carolina's third oldest town. It has a rich past including pirates and war.

Beaufort was voted a coolest small town in America.
