Former "Survivor" Producer Arrested 7 Months After Wife Found Dead In Mexico

A TV producer whose wife was killed in Mexico has been arrested as a fugitive in Southern California.

A statement from the U.S. attorney's office says Bruce Beresford-Redman was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals and FBI agents late Tuesday without incident at his home in Rancho Palos Verdes.

According to the complaint, Beresford-Redman is charged in Mexico with aggravated homicide in the death of Monica Beresford-Redman.

The statement says the arrest warrant for Beresford-Redman was sought in conjunction with the filing of a complaint which outlines Mexico's case against the producer.

Monica Beresford-Redman was found dead in a sewer in Cancun in April.

Mexican officials issued a warrant for the former "Survivor" producer's arrest in May, but he had already returned to California.
