Greetings to my students! I've got a rack of St.Louis ribs in the crock pot (with a bottle of Uncle Yammy's) -- going to add some shrimps sauteed in olive oil and garlic for the Super Bowl Supper! Y'all enjoy!

Ah, the Super Bowl. The ultimate parade of all-American corporate greed. An event so big, yet so meaningless, that the entire world has to come to a halt for this display of American arrogance. Sorry, but I have better things to do than watch washed up entertainers and a constant barrage of pro military star spangled propaganda while in the company of beer drinking slobs and sports minded idiots.

The so-called voice, why don't you stay off of the North Carolina media website. If you have that much of a problem, please do us a favor and leave America to go somewhere like Brazil or New Zealand. You are not a true American if you have that much of a problem with the superbowl.

So, watching a corporate driven sporting event in which the winner has already been decided makes you "a true American"? Darren, I really don't think you realize how idiotic that sounds. And, why do you "real Americans" always favor those of us who don't believe the lies that we are the ones who should leave the country? Do me a favor- Tune into Faux News, wrap yourself in the flag, bow to you "heroes" in the military and Google a phrase called "freedom of speech".

I believe it is you who are narrow minded. Jealous much? You sound to be a very unhappy, angry person, go get some help and don't take it out on this country. That is unless you are angry at Obama, we all have justificaition for that, but don't take it out on our military HEROES or football.

Wow, you described the whole 6 hour pregame show in a nutshell! But I'm still gonna watch the game on WITN. The 6 hours of hype and hoopla doesn't interest me. I'll tune in around 6:15 P.M. to see what's going on. I hope THE GAME has started by then...otherwise, I might turn the channel to something else and miss the kickoff.

Sad, I will reply to my own flawless logic and superior intellect by stating that you have another typical response that I have grown so accustomed to. No basis for your argument, except taking it out on our President. Remember who put him there. If there is anyone to blame, look in the mirror and quit trying to put the blame on those of us who do not follow diversions such as corporate sponsored sporting events or bow to your so-called "heroes" who are nothing more than government thugs or corporate rubes.

It's sad you have to post on a thread in N.C. to have a conversation. You must travel in a group of one. It's fine, we'll talk to you. Being lonely must be a horrible thing.

Yeah, cause the Steelers are not as good of a program as the Patriots. Deal with it with your terrible towel.

To cut down on drunk drivers. But seriously, maybe one of the team members had a scheduling problem. No, I'm really serious this time; Madonna couldn't fly in until later this afternoon; she had a 'costume malfunction'. Wait; I've got it this time; the arena was booked up and only available tonight. No wait; some of the light bulbs on the scoreboard had to be replaced. No, this time I mean it...:P Enjoy your Superbowl.
