The Greene County Middle School has won $10,000 in a music contest.
The school entered a contest sponsored by the Glee Foundation to support music in schools.

This school year at Greene County Middle School in Snow Hill is much different than any other year. Classes are meeting in trailers while construction crews demolish what's left of the school building, destroyed on April 16 during a deadly tornado outbreak in North Carolina.
Now the choral program at Greene County Middle School is hoping to win thousands of dollars towards replacing the musical equipment that was destroyed during the tornado and stolen afterwards. They've entered a contest sponsored by the Glee Foundation where the prizes range from $10,000 - $50,000.

You can vote once per day, and the contest ends November 7.
