Sheen To Take Chicago Stage After Detroit Failure

People are lining up outside the Chicago Theatre, where Charlie Sheen is expected to perform.

People outside the theater are saying they have low expectations for Sunday night's show after what they heard about Sheen's show Saturday night in Detroit.

Sheen was heckled, booed and eventually abandoned by the crowd at his inaugural stage show. Many audience members in Detroit chanted "refund" and headed for the exits even before the show abruptly ended.

Twenty-three-year-old Katie Iglehart of Chicago said she was nervous about Sunday's show. She said she figured she would see what happens, and if it's bad, she planned to leave.

The only ones more in need of counseling than Charlie Sheen are the idiots that pay to see him!

The legal history with Charlie Sheen is overlooked in all of the stories I see about him. He is an abuser. He abuses women. His criminal record should be the hot topic, not his pathetic attempt at stand up comedy.

And from what I've heard, those coming out of the Detroit show are saying that's exactly what they did...throw their money away.

Why would anyone pay money to attend a show by this loser? I enjoyed him in Two and a Half Men, but his recent tirades have made me a former fan of him and this show. He is not a stand up comic. All he does is spend money on drugs and ladies of the evening and copious amounts of liquor. He would only be able to go up on stage and whine about losing touch with reality. A person of limited talent abusing his status in life.

I quit watching Two and a Half Men because Charlie Sheen's personal life and tv persona was the same. It got lower and lower. I think women should be regarded with higher values than that. White men are either being portrayed as stupid or a womanizer. When we will realize as a nation that often our children do not know the difference between a show and how people are supposed to act with one another.

When will people stop blaming actors, singers, the media? First, a child shouldn't be watching Two and a Half Men to start with. What a child watches is the parents' responsibility. I think Charlie is off his rocker but I also think 75% of his behavior is an intentional mock at the media. His job is to entertain not set examples as a role model for the youth. It is society's fault for looking at Hollywood as a "life coach".
