Powerball Jackpot Swells To $310 Million

Powerball's $250 million jackpot went begging last night, as no one matched all six numbers correctly to claim the top prize.

The pot now swells to $310 million for Saturday night's drawing.

While the numbers didn't match up completely, five players in five states came awfully close, by each matching five of the six winning numbers.

Those tickets were sold in Georgia, North Carolina, Missouri, Nebraska and New Jersey. There were no Power Play Match 5 winners.

Just think our nation debt is roughly 48,400 times greater than the jackpot. It wouldn't even put a dent in it.

Jeez. If I actually purchased a ticket and was lucky enough to win, I couldn't enjoy a dime of it. I'd be deader than Moses from the shock. I don't think my ticker could take it.
