PirateFest Sails Into Town This Weekend

The 7th annual PirateFest brings music, merriment, and a whole lot of fun to Uptown Greenville this weekend.

The celebration begins Friday, April 12th from 5pm to 8pm and continues Saturday, April 13th from 10am to 7pm on Evans Street.

This annual event celebrates eastern North Carolina's rich history of famous pirates, including the infamous Blackbeard and Greenville’s own Pirates of East Carolina University.

The whole family can get in on the fun with the Little Pirates Pavilion, International Ports O'Call, Arts and Treasure Isle, pirate re-enactments, costume contests, live music and more!

why do we glorify pirates? They were really bad guys, if they were around today they would put the little Greenville thugs to shame.

Don't worry citizens of Greenville, this will be another great chance for The Big Time Police department of greenville, to give another certain classification of people citations. Kinda gives them a chance to even out the numbers.....If you know what I mean..... Always easy to give someone a ticket that doesn't run away

Great, another reason for traffic and drinking this weekend. Greenville needs to shape up.

You must be from Chapel Hell...the land where no one does ANYTHING WRONG, yet they probably do more drinking and partying than any other college I've been to.
