PHOTOS: Actress Mila Kunis Night Out In Greenville For Marine Corps Ball

A Sergeant at the marine corps ball at the Greenville Convention Center Friday night had a dream date, Hollywood actress Mila Kunis, but the starlet could not outshine the warriors honored at this ball.

From stars and stripes to blues and satin- the Third battalion, 2nd Marines Division Birthday Ball rolled on.

A dapper devil dog made his YouTube offer to a movie star months ago.

"I just want to take a moment out of my day to invite you to the marine corps ball," said Sgt. Scott Moore on the internet video.

To the surprise of many, Mila Kunis accepted.

As much as her appearance means a lot to this marine unit, they have other people to thank for showing up when they needed it most. They lost a marine or sailor for every month of their recent deployment to Afghanistan - seven marines killed in the line of duty. That's why Captain Scott Sasser says despite the added bit of glitz and glamor their focus is elsewhere.

"You see the medals on everyone's chest - the accomplishments they made." said Sasser.

Those inside the ball say Kunis and Sgt. Moore appeared together by 7:00 p.m. when the ball began.

Actress Mila Kunis is attending the Marine Corps ball in Greenville tonight with Sergeant Scott Moore.

She accepted his YouTube invite earlier this year, while he was on his second combat deployment with the 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marines.

Despite all the buzz about Kunis, the Marines are moving forward with their annual event with little deviation.

The media is not allowed to attend the ball, but hopefully we'll be able to bring you a Mila sighting or two! The ball starts at 7 tonight.

Why do you think there would be fighting here and abroad? Ever think people want to fight us because our military ocupies 3/4 of the nations in the world and view us as a threat? Why would someone just "pack it up LEAVE our country" instead of trying to fix the problems here. Just because someone disagrees with you on foreign policy does not mean they hate America.

Every last one of you are ignorant. You talk you hate this country well you should but why. And those of you that think you are patriotic for supporting the US military well you're NOT patriots. This war as well as every other so called war since Korea has been un- Constitutional. Thats right, the last Constituational war that was declared by Congress was WW 2. If you want to support our military then pull them out from every where in this world. We are NOT Team America: World Police. If you have time to read this thread then you have time to read The Constitution, bc I know that none of you have and probly never will, if you havent, then you have absolutely no right to speak what is good for this country. I am sorry, but this country has forgotten where we came from and now look where we are. The country is 15 trillion in dept to the Fed, thats right not China (435 Billion Owed) or Japan(we owe 600 Billion) the rest is to private bamks and corporations. And the dept keeps rising every second we stay in the foreign countryies that poseno threat to us. The military is here to DEFEND our nation not bully all the other nations. But people have forgotten and spat on our founding fathers of this once great nation. Thomas Jefferson warned us and Andrew Jackson stopped it temporarily but evil will prevail because we have cowards like you all that would rather live in this socialist police state that we are in !! Wake up ! For we are in the United Socialist States of America !

Chris is a fine example of the results of leave no child behind success. Your spelling of bamks, countryies is spot on. Most of all, you are a perfect example of a mind is a terrible thing to waste.

Yes, I agree, my spelling or grammer was not the greatest. That is what happens when you type from a smartphone. But, I am sorry you had make your argument an ad hominem. It's a shame to me that you have to attack my character, rather than my argument. And no, I am not a product of the no chid left behind, nor have I let my mind go to waste. It seems this is the trend however, in this country that we do not educate ourselves or the future. Just remember it's the quality of content.

Can any of you chicken hawk patriots explain to me how the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are defending my freedom? As an Iraq veteran myself, I am dying to know because we've only lost freedoms since 2001.

Sorry Chris, it appears u may be the ignorant one here. If our great military personnel had not interceded in these conflicts our country would be more Communist than it already is. As for the Constitution several others of us have read it and me for one do not get the same understanding. Yes, I agree we are heavily in debt but war is not all that caused this. What about every tom; dick; and harry that is on welfare that does not need to be; what about things being built with taxpayer money that does not need to be; and what about our current President trying to ram health care down everyone's throat; and many more things that are unnecessary. finally, I think you may want to approach in person each and every service person, male and female, and tell them they have been fighting an un-constitutional war currently and in the past. I know as a veteran what my response to you would be!!! It sounds like you may not even wish to be an American yourself so maybe you will consider catching the next plane out of the United States to another country that is not so much in debt, etc.

"If our great military personnel had not interceded in these conflicts our country would be more Communist than it already is." Really? How so? "As for the Constitution several others of us have read it and me for one do not get the same understanding" right, I TOTALLY BELIEVE YOU! "finally, I think you may want to approach in person each and every service person, male and female, and tell them they have been fighting an un-constitutional war currently and in the past." They may not agree with that statement, but that doesn't discredit it in the slightest. I think we have a serious case of denial.

I would ask Sgt Moore if i could- Was Mila properly respectful and ladylike? Or was she low class, "let's get this over with already" like a cheap over paid, underclassed wench of hollywood? I have no preconceived notion- I am just asking.

Not ONE of you spineless, simpering, America-haters have the guts to move out of this country that you claim to loathe so much. You should all move to China to live with your fellow communists; maybe some time among your own kind will help you appreciate the rights and freedoms we have here. Any U.S. serviceman, past, present, or future, has more honor, integrity, and guts in their left pinkie finger than any of you do in your entire bodies. You spit in the faces of those who protect your freedoms [including the right to free speech] while simultaneously enjoying those freedoms. About the only consolation is that folks like you are in the minority; all of us TRUE AMERICANS know that our country is still the best, and that our military ROCKS. I don't know which disgusts me more: Your blatant ingratitude or your shameless hypocrisy.

I'M too old to enlist, according to military rules. So, I'll wear the "cheerleader" title with pride. At least I'm cheering for those who protect all of us..even gutless, commie ingrates. Meanwhile, neither you, nor any other America-bashing hippie on this page, has bothered to answer my question: If you hate our country so much, why are you still here? Your anti-America, anti-military stance has zero credibility when you refuse to leave that which you claim to despise.

Just because you don't agre with the current foreign policy doesn't mean you hate the country. In fact, it probably means you're more concerned with the country than the people who throw nationalism in your face everytime you dare critique the military or our foreign policy in anything but a positive light.

Wow, sure are some petty, jealous, rude as the devil folks posting. Who licked the red off your candy? Very nice looking couple and happy to read she had the good sense to accept his invitation. Hope they are having fun together and thank you, Sgt. Moore, for your service to our country. Ladies and gentlemen, have a good evening.

"she had the good sense to accept his invitation", just wow. In all honesty, if she had said "no", then she would have been crucified by you and the media. Sgt. Moore was only thinking about himself, but because he is military, he gets a free pass.

Oh, get off it already! This marine had the guts and sense of fun to ask Mila Kunis to the ball and she has the grace enough to accept. How did this become a political statement or publicity stunt? I'm glad the Marine got his wish and hope Ms. Kunis learned something about the military. Get off pejoratives, people. Neither of these people did anything to you. Lighten up and calm it with the bitter comments.

Plain and simple, Mila's and J.T.'s good will toward our Marine's is a nice gesture of appreciation. Very kind people for sure and not above it all, as most star's seem to be.
