Jack LaLanne Dies at 96

Fitness guru Jack LaLanne has died.

LaLanne spent decades encouraging people to get up and work out.

According to his agent, LaLanne died Sunday afternoon of respiratory failure, at his home along central California's coast. He says LaLanne, who was 96, exercised every day of his life, until the end.

LaLanne had said exercise transformed his life, and he wanted to inspire others to transform theirs.

Thanks Jack , I remember you when I was a kid on Black & White 1960's TV. You inspired me to play sports to stay healthy. We will all miss you. Give a good " Push Up " for the Lord today when you see him. Thanks Jack.

What a life!! This man dedicated his life to being healthy and feeling great. He's a prime example of what good health habits can do for you. He lived a long healthy life and didn't linger with some aweful lifestyle-related chronic illness like heart disease, type 2 diabetes, hypertension, or obesity. RIP Jack.
