Mario Lopez appeared at a downtown nightclub in Greenville Wednesday evening.
Many know him from playing the role of A.C. Slater on Saved by the Bell and he now works with the entertainment show EXTRA as a host.
Lopez made his appearance at the Rehab Lounge shortly after 11:30 Wednesday night.
People were lined up at the door of the bar before they opened. They expected a sold out crowd.
WITN's Brittany Creamer interviewed Lopez. She talked with him about the recent rumor that he could take over Regis Philbin's role on "Live With Regis And Kelly" after Philbin retires.
"I'm honored that my name has come up a couple times," Lopez told WITN. "I love Kelly, and Regis is a legend, and what can I say... he is not going anywhere for a little while so I'm excited to be in the mix."
