Are you ready for St. Patrick's Day and the 21st annual Emerald Isle Festival?
The festival is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday in the Carteret County town and is held at the Emerald Plantation shopping center.
Admission and parking are free.

The Little Ms. & Mr. Leprechaun Contest
The contest is for kids ages 2-3 and 4-5. The children are judged on their stage presentation and originality and creativity of their costume. You need to register your child by noon Friday. Call (252)354-6350 for more information.
