How many marching bands showed up at the Greenville Parade last Saturday? They always struggle with bands.

You want to see a good one, go to Edenton, NC. They have one of the best Christmas parades in the East, period. 11am Saturday morning. If you like horses they usually have a slew of them in the parade.

I was very disappointed with the WITN entry in the Washington parade, they could have at least had the car cleaned up, it was covered in bird droppings.

Northern parades are much better.. I have attended a few of these Southern so called parades.. My impression, lots of overweight kids, with underemployed parents watching pick up trucks drive down some depressed and dirty main street.. Where is the Starbucks or micro pub? The 21st century is calling

If the north is so much better why are you here. Go back up there if the south is not your taste.

I'm here to stay... It's cheaper, less crime (on most days) and the weather is so much better.. If we can just update the educational system and standard of living.. Then things would be perfect..

The people who flock to Christmas parades are the same nuts who camp out at Wal-Mart's 3 days before Black Friday to save $50 on a big flat screen TV.

Exactly, I think most of the parade attendees are poor.. Rednecks can not afford entertainment in today's world... I feel bad, but how about putting on a clean shirt and wash your kids face before showing up....

I have to say I was extremely disappointed with this years Washington Parade. Whoever was in charge of announcing it did a poor job of getting the word out and the parade itself was very short. I hope next year is better.
