Casey Anthony's Parents To Be On "Dr. Phil" Show

The parents of the Florida mother who was acquitted in July of killing her 2-year-old daughter are set to appear on the "Dr. Phil" television show next month.

George and Cindy Anthony's interview with Dr. Phil McGraw is
scheduled to air Sept. 12, according to a statement released Monday
by the show. The episode will examine the public scrutiny they've
faced during and following their daughter's murder trial.

The Anthony's daughter, 25-year-old Casey Anthony, was found not
guilty last month of killing her daughter Caylee in the summer of
2008.

The show is not compensating the Anthonys for the interview,
according to the release, and is only being asked to donate to a
charity organization that has been set up to advocate for the
rights of grandparents of missing children.

Dr. Phil airs locally on Channel 9, WNCT-TV at 9am.

Phillip is just about as much of a doctor as the so called "Dr. martin Luther King Jr." or as equal of a doctor as Dr. Pepper. Phillip is no real doctor and is one hypocrite of a talk show host. A true phony!

I thought Dr Phil came on at 4:00 or 5:00 in afternoon. Does anyone know the correct time out there?

We already know just how good their parenting skills are. They might up their rating if they filled a wrongful death suit against their daughter. I FOR ONE WILL NOT BE WATCHING

Dr. Phil is a sham. One town in Texas has banned him from ever returning because of something he did there. This is just a way to get viewers. I don't care if they are getting compensated or not, they were involved in the whole ordeal from the get-go. And donating money to a fund to help grandparents get more rights? Huh? Never heard of it but what rights would these two want? Their granddaughter was KILLED! Did they want custody of her? If that was the case then they knew something about their daughter. But this whole thing is a joke. Dr. Phil wouldn't be around if it wasn't for Oprah. And even his son is in the news for shacking up with someone. What's the good "doctor" have to say aobut that?

I had nearly forgotten about this horrible ordeal. Thanks for posting this meaningless story about a TV program on ANOTHER NETWORK. Not that I ever watch such trivial tripe, but I think WITN made a bad call to post this story.....just saying.
