Aspiring models lined up Saturday in Rocky Mount for their shot at stardom and a chance to be on the CW's networks prime time program.
There was a casting call for America's Next Top model over at the Golden East Crossing mall in Rocky Mount.
The event was co-sponsored by the Rocky Mount Telegram.
Model hopefuls came from as far as Virgina to get their chance at stardom.
The casting call took place from 1 to 5 pm Saturday afternoon and whoever gets chosen will have a chance at the final casting call in Los Angeles.
Many said this was a chance they could not pass up. One even saying she would leave school. Erika Simmons a student at ECU says, "I'm a junior so it would be difficult for me to leave ECU but if i had a chance to be on the show it would be the chance of a lifetime and I would leave ECU for this."
This is the second year in a row this model search has come to our area.
The Rocky Mount Telegram will post the top ten finalist from our area on their website on Sunday.
A spokesperson for the paper says people can log on to their website and cast their vote on who they think should go to the final casting call in Los Angeles.
If you would like to vote on who you think should go then log on to http://www.rockymounttelegram.com/ and cast your vote.
